Move In Date / Early Arrivals: Move in date is Monday, June 18, 2018 at 6 am. Early arrivals must be arranged and are subject to availability. A fee of $25.00 per horse per night will be assessed for horses moving in before Monday, June 18, 2018. Absolutely no move in prior to Sunday, June 17, 2018.
NSF Checks: Any owner or exhibitor whose personal check (for show fees or stalls) fails to clear the bank has 30 days to make the check good or be subject to AQHA notification. There is a $25.00 fee for each NSF check.
Show Permits: The Oregon Summer Classic show was approved for exemption from AQHA rule #SHW245.8 that restricts a Level 1 (Novice) exhibitor from showing a non owned horse at a top 10 circuit and requiring permits be used there for, a Level 1 (Novice) may show a non owned horse at the Summer Classic without a lease or permit in Level 1 (Novice) classes only.
Awards Pick-Up: All awards must be picked up at the show, prior to the closing of the awards office on the last day of the show. The show will not be responsible for shipping or otherwise delivering any awards to exhibitors who have departed prior to the prizes being awarded. The show office will be closed immediately following the last class on Sunday for 1 hour to calculate the all-around awards.
Dogs: The Jackson County Dog Control requires dogs to be on a leash or secured in a tack room or RV at all times. Loose dogs will result in a $50.00 fine per incident. THIS RULE WILL BE ENFORCED WITHOUT WARNING. Dogs are not allowed in the arena and schooling arenas due to the extreme danger of injury to horse and riders. Owner assumes all liability for pets. Please pick up after your pet. If OQHA continues to have problems, dogs will not be allowed at OQHA events.
Golf Carts: All golf cards must have a permit – Obtain permits in the horse show office. Carts without permits will be impounded. No person under 16 years of age may operate any motor vehicle or golf cart on the grounds. Any violations of the Golf Cart Rules subject to a $100.00 fine and/or confiscation of cart with no refund. See reservation form for carts for rules and restrictions.
Parking: Any vehicle, truck or trailer parked in the barns or RV lots without a pass, around the arenas or in a "No Parking Zone" or "Fire Zone" will be towed and impounded at owner's expense. Exhibitors shall obey all signage including speed limits, parking signs and directions from show staff. Please observe parking signs for golf carts, bicycles and scooters. A designated parking area will be established. Please do not park behind a RV or in designated RV spaces without an RV pass.
Cleaning: All horses must be washed at the wash racks provided. Horse trailers may not be cleaned out in the barn areas. Cars, trucks, RVs and trailers may not be washed on the grounds.
No Smoking allowed in the barns or arena buildings. No cooking, including BBQs or other open flame device is allowed in or near the barns.
Bedding: No shavings will be provided. NO outside shavings allowed. Shavings may be purchased using the form provided for $10.00 a bag. Please make a separate check payable to: K Bar D Enterprises, LLC.
Feed / Hay: Top quality feed / hay will be available and delivered to stalls by K Bar D Enterprises. Payment for feed must be handled with K Bar D Enterprises and not in the show office.
RV Pumping: There will be RV pumping service provided by Jefferson State Pumping Inc. Please check with the show office for dates, times and fees.
Commercial Exhibits: No commercial exhibits without prior approval. Contact OQHA office at 503-537-9845 for additional information.
Show Office Hours: Show office will be open 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday, June 18, 2018, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 and on all show days, one hour prior to the show start time and will remain open during the show. The show office will be closed on Friday, June 22, 2018 to calculate all arounds and circuit standings. Circuit standings and high points will be posted by 6 pm on Friday, June 22, 2018. The show office will be closed immediately following the last class on Sunday for 1 hour to calculate the all-around awards. There will be no refunds after check close-out even if you scratch a class. An exhibitor has 30 days from the end of the show to dispute a show bill.
Security: Security officers will be on the grounds from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
Dry Cleaning Service: Laundry & dry cleaning service available. Please check with the show office for dates and times.
Fans or lights in stalls: If you are going to plug into the stalls or power outlets, you MUST have a GFI protected cord.
