Amaya is from Terrebonne, Oregon. She was the winner of the beginning trail buckle at the January Winter Breakout show.


October 2017 - Western Pleasure
Jeannine Miller and her Gelding Vested Me Good
Jeannine is from Sherwood, Oregon. This is her seventh year showing with OQHA. She currently shows in the select all around classes (western pleasure, showmanship, hunter under saddle, hunt seat equitation, western horsemanship, halter and trial). Her horses favorite class is western pleasure. Her favorite food is Italian and she listens to 80's rock. Her goal is to keep on showing and always work to improve her rides.

April 2017 – Hunter Under Saddle

Jana is from Bend, Oregon. This is her sixth year showing OQHA. She currently shows in the Hunter Under Saddle classes. Her favorite food is pretty much everything, and she enjoys listening to a bit of everything. Jana is looking forward to showing at all of the OQHA shows this year. Her goal would be to qualify for the AQHA World show in the Hunter Under Saddle and make the finals.

March 2017 – Cow Horse Boxing
Jenny Lee and her Stallion Mr Dual Smoke
Jenny is from Bonanza, Oregon where she raises Quarter Horses and stands her own stallion Mr Dual Smoke. This is her first year showing OQHA and her second show. She currently shows in the reining, working cowhorse boxing and the versatility classes. Her favorite food is BBQ steak or Outback, and she enjoys listening to Country Music. Jenny is looking forward to showing at all of the OQHA shows this year. Her goal would be to qualify for the AQHA World show and compete there.

Jeri is from Boring, Oregon. Jeri has been showing with OQHA for 25 years plus. She currently shows in the trail, western riding and western horsemanship. Her favorite food is Italian, and she enjoys listening to Country Music. Her goal would be to qualify for the AQHA World show and compete there.

February 2017 – Halter
Barbara Smith and her filly Hollywodsmartmate
Barbara is from Azalea, Oregon where she raises Quarter Horses and stands her own stallion Dun It Solanos. This is her second year showing OQHA. She currently shows her foals in the Halter classes, and hopes to have her stallion’s babies shown in Reining, Cutting and Working Cow Horse.
Her favorite food is Texas Bar BQ, and she enjoys listening to Country Oldies!
Barbara is looking forward to showing at all of the OQHA shows this year.

February 2017 - Reining, Cutting and Ranch Riding

Andrea Ellis and Ten Smokin Surprizes

Andrea is from Canby, Oregon with her husband Dusty who is a trainer. The February show was her first OQHA show. She showed in reining, cutting and ranch riding at the show. Andrea won the beginning ranch riding buckle. Congratulations! Her favorite food is Tacos and she enjoys country music. She is looking forward to attending the OQHA Summer Classic show this year as it will be her first one. Her long term goals are to compete at the AQHA Level 1 Championship and the World Show.
