OQHA Showcase of Talent 2011:
• Youth Champion of Champions: An opportunity to name a champion youth equitation rider as the Over-All Champion of Oregon Summer Classic 2010. Western against the English. The first and second place winner in the Youth Hunt Seat Equitation and the Youth Horsemanship from the Monday – Tuesday classes, under each judge. 11 & Under, 13-under, 14-18, novice youth 13 & under and Novice youth 14-18 will be invited to participate. It will be rail work only, all contestants at the same time. It will be a scored class using a handicap system. 13-under a 2 point handicap, novice a 1 point handicap and 14-18 no handicap. _______GREAT PRIZE FOR THE CHAMPION WHILE THEY TAKE THEIR VICTORY LAP AROUND THE ARENA!!

• Bridleless Western Pleasure: A breathtaking class to watch as communication between horse and rider exemplifies outstanding horsemanship and training. One entry will emerge the champion and claim a fabulous prize. Open to any age horse and rider, smooth tack strap allowed, AQHA Western Pleasure rules prevail with the exception of the bridle requirement. Cost is $50 Proceeds to the OQHYA World show team. Entry forms available in the show office.
